Responsibilities
Develop mechanisms for generating synthetic test data that reflect production structure, scale, and relationships without using real production data
Build AI-assisted systems for test generation across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
Define and enforce expectations around correctness, regressions, and behavioral changes
Ensure AI-generated outputs are explainable, traceable, and safely bounded
Improve the reliability and signal quality of automated testing outcomes
Qualification
Required
Strong software engineering experience, with practical knowledge of applied AI technologies, such as prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, model integration, and adaptation methods
Experience designing or maintaining synthetic test data for complex systems, including preserving structure, relationships, and edge cases at scale
Deep understanding of software quality practices and automated testing strategies across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
Full-stack development experience, including building or maintaining frontend components used to surface quality signals, test results, or system insights to engineers
Sound judgment in balancing automation, safety, and correctness in production systems
Preferred
Experience with AI-assisted developer tools or automation systems
Experience working with complex or distributed systems
Familiarity with modeling real-world data characteristics and invariants
