Business Change Lead (PMO)

Responsibilities
Consult with, advise and provide regular communications to project sponsors to clearly define business drivers, objectives, success criteria and progress for projects
Plan and manage all aspects of the project delivery process from scope definition, justification and planning to completion / closeout. Ensure robust pro-active risk management processes are in-use within the project scope. Responsible for assuring an outcome which meets all of the defined project objectives including safety, quality, cost, timelines and business benefit
Design the project organization structure, define team member roles and assign individual work responsibilities. Lead, manage and supervise the project team
Provide clear direction for project team’s objectives supporting team member’s development and providing feedback to the team member and their respective manager
Identify, contractually engage and performance manage vendors to support the project delivery
Ensure comprehensive integrated forward-looking project planning processes are used that balance resources, schedule and impact on existing operations. Use data to proactively highlight risk and opportunities and build contingency plans as necessary
Plan and ensure delivery of clearly defined project education and training programs / turn-over packages to the business customers, as well as ensure proper support models are in place
Interface and build robust partnerships with key site functions including Production, Technical, Planning, Engineering and Quality to ensure customer requirements are met. Interface and partner with the GSK community of Shared Services, Centers of Excellence and other sites to contribute, share and leverage best practice project management as appropriate
Utilize the GSK production system standards to ensure project performance management systems are embedded and in-use (both Lead and Lag) and to drive towards Zero Accidents, Zero Defects and Zero Waste. Actively track project metrics and problem solve issues

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, project management, organizational development or related field
7+ years' experience with leadership skills managing cross functional complex projects within a regulated industry
Experience with and knowledge of cGMP's and FDA requirements
Experience and knowledge of program and system life cycles
Business and Technical expertise in a regulated industry program delivery
Operational Excellence/GPS experience
Preferred
The ability to plan effectively in order to deliver sustainable business change programs
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers
Ability to work well under pressure with tight timelines
Excellent consultative, listening, communications and analytical skills
Must be flexible, adaptable and a strong team player
Negotiation and conflict resolutions skills and ability to motivate highly skilled and trained individuals
High energy level, pro-active self-starter
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Professional Project Management certification preferred
Black Belt of Green Belt desirable
Broad Knowledge and experience to understand the links and identification / management of Risks between the Business, Technical, Operational and Support aspects of project delivery
