Paralegal
White Brenner LLP is currently recruiting for a paralegal to support their diverse legal practice. The role involves assisting attorneys with legal document preparation, conducting legal research, managing case files, and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents including pleadings, contracts, discovery responses, and correspondence
Conduct advanced legal research and analysis using various tools and databases
Manage case files from inception through resolution, ensuring all deadlines and procedural requirements are met
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and corporate governance documents
Coordinate with outside counsel, clients, and internal departments as necessary
Support due diligence and document review efforts for transactions or litigation
File and serve legal documents in federal and state courts, including e-filing
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
Mentor and train junior paralegals and legal assistants
Assist with special projects and process improvements within the Firm
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 4 years of paralegal experience
Excellent writing and analysis
Excellent grammar and proof-reading abilities
Excellent research abilities
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Strong formatting abilities in Microsoft Word (styles, TOC, Ps&As, etc.)
Ability to preserve the confidentiality of each client and case and knowledge of confidentiality standards
Compliance with Business & Professions Code § 6450
Preferred
Experience in environmental law
