2+ years expUnited Wireless is seeking an organized and driven Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for general accounting support, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accounting ledgers.

Responsibilities
Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries
Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation
Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos
Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Willingness to learn new material and open to opportunities
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
2+ years of accounting, finance, or related field experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus
Experience with QuickBooks
Proficient computer skills in MS Office (EXCEL), accounting software and databases
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
Must be proficient in journal entry preparation and entry
Preferred
Experience with Restuarant 365 a plus
