ARC Group is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager on behalf of a well-known CPA firm in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and ASC 740 tax provision preparation or audit support, while managing multiple client engagements and leading teams.

Responsibilities

Lead client engagements from start to finish, including planning, execution, budget management, and final delivery

Supervise, mentor, and train associates, seniors, and interns; provide performance feedback and serve as in-charge on projects when needed

Review corporate tax returns and identify tax savings opportunities

Conduct ASC 740 income tax provision reviews and provide audit support

Research complex tax issues and provide consultative insights

Respond to inquiries from federal, state, and local tax authorities

Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding operations, processes, and business objectives

Identify opportunities to expand services with existing and potential clients

Stay current through ongoing professional development and training

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Active CPA license (Georgia) or JD with active law license

Significant corporate tax compliance and ASC 740 provision experience (preparation, review, and audit)

Recent public accounting experience

Strong background in corporate tax for large, multi-state/national/global companies

Ability to work hybrid: minimum 2 days per week in-office or on client site

Preferred

Professional services industry experience

Exposure to industries such as manufacturing, technology, pharma, food & beverage, consulting, engineering, telecommunications, or transportation & distribution
