Responsibilities
Create engineering models for the propulsion subsystem
Generate engineering drawings in support of manufacturing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related discipline
Mechanical CAD modeling and drafting design experience using CREO or similar software
Experience with basic drafting techniques and requirements
Excellent verbal/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical audiences
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance
Preferred
Experience with aerospace manufacturing
Experience with tolerance stack analysis
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
Hardware Design experience
Experience with additive manufacturing
Understanding of mechanical and propulsion engineering principles and processes
Ability to collaborate effectively with adjacent fields (systems engineering, electronics, stress/thermal analysis, configuration management, production, test, quality...)
Ability to work in a collaborative and highly integrated team environment
