Responsibilities

Own end to end architecture for a commercetools based commerce platform
Design and optimize commercetools data models, custom types, API extensions, and subscription workflows
Build multi store, multi brand solutions across B2B and B2C
Lead checkout, cart, and order customizations for complex enterprise workflows
Define headless frontend and API strategy using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and commercetools GraphQL and REST APIs
Design scalable Java and Spring Boot microservices and event driven integrations using commercetools Subscriptions with Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or Solace
Drive CI CD, infrastructure as code with Terraform on Azure, observability, and security practices aligned to HIPAA expectations
Mentor and guide senior engineers and architects across the program

Required

Commercetools experience is mandatory
8 plus years in software architecture and engineering
6 plus years hands on with commercetools, including core platform customization and integrations

Preferred

Azure experience preferred, including AKS and eventing patterns
