Responsibilities

Lead advanced engineering design tasks on complex water resource projects
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support design and assessment of surface water systems and infrastructure
Develop detailed plans, specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports, along with permit application support
Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews on projects
Provide mentoring, training, and oversight for staff
Manage water resource related projects and tasks
Pursue client management and business development opportunities

Qualification

Professional Engineer licensedHydrologicHydraulic analysesHEC-RASHEC-HMSArcGISAutoCAD Civil 3DFloodplain managementMentoring staffTechnical report writingProblem solving

Required

B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Professional Engineer licensed
7 + years of experience with water resources projects in one or more of the following areas hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management and compliance, dam safety engineering
Strong experience with hydrologic and hydraulic processes and expertise in modeling these processes
Proficiency with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and ArcGIS
Experience producing engineering drawings
Experience mentoring and managing staff
Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation
Ability to write and prepare technical reports

Preferred

Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and 2D Hydraulic Modeling (InfoWorks ICM, FLO-2D, etc.)
Familiarity with applications of Low Impact Development, Green Infrastructure, and/or Nature-Based Solutions
