Operating Engineer

Operates chillers and absorbers
Compiles water treatment reports
Performs maintenance on boilers, chillers, pumps, steam pipes, and related machinery
Operates automated building control computer and makes corrections as required
Operates/adjusts air handling equipment
Qualification
Required
Two years' experience with boiler operation
Other Steam plant third grade engineers course (NAPE)
First Grade Station Engineer: NE, within 12 - months
Second Grade Engineer: NE, within 12 - months
Third Grade Station Engineer: NE, upon hire
Preferred
High School GED General Studies, upon hire
Technical Training in field, HVAC, Refrigeration, Building controls
