Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of data center and mission-critical projects from site planning and entitlement through design, construction, and commissioning
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables across multidisciplinary teams
Serve as a primary client contact, building long-term relationships through consistent communication and execution
Support business development efforts including sourcing leads, writing proposals, and participating in fee negotiations
Coordinate internal engineering disciplines including civil, power, utilities, and site infrastructure
Represent the organization in client meetings, industry events, and market-facing initiatives
Mentor and manage technical teams, supporting recruiting, retention, and professional development
Collaborate with internal specialists to implement digital tools and innovative project delivery methods
Stay current on emerging trends, technologies, and standards within the data center and mission-critical industry
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
15-20 years of overall professional experience
Minimum of 5 years of direct data center or mission-critical project experience
Proven experience leading large, complex engineering programs
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to travel as needed to project sites
Preferred
Experience supporting hyperscale or colocation data center projects
Background working with multidisciplinary engineering teams across site, power, and infrastructure
Familiarity with project management platforms
Exposure to CAD, BIM, or digital delivery tools in an engineering environment
