Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions and is seeking a Senior Accounting Assistant to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will perform various accounting functions and ensure timely submission of timecards for over 100 employees while managing project openings and closings using Oracle ERP.

Responsibilities

Perform various accounting functions such as payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Ensure timely submission of employee timecards in Oracle
Manage project openings and closings, sending payment summaries to subcontractors
Assist with project amendments and funding increases within Oracle ERP
Follow detailed instructions for routine work and broader assignments
Maintain financial records and generate accounting reports using computer systems
Perform additional duties as needed

Required

High School Diploma required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
1-3 years of experience in accounting, administrative, or related positions
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information and work in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to being an active participant in an employee-owned culture

Internship experience is preferred, but not required
