Trinity Health is seeking an experienced full time Floor Care Technician to join their Environmental Services Team at St. Mary Medical Center. The role involves responsible floor care work, including maintenance of hard surfaces and carpets, while ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all floor care work including routine mopping (dry and damp) buffing, waxing and burnishing all hard surfaces
Provides floor maintenance, including but not limited to vacuuming, shampooing and extracting carpets, stairwells and upholstery
Performs preventive maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use and at the end of shift
Provides other cleaning services such as dusting, routine restroom, offices, halls and classrooms or other duties as assigned
Follows all safety requirements and procedures at all times
Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating condition
Respects Hospital and Company property
Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc

Required

1 year experience (required)
