Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair work on highways, parks, buildings, and facilities
Operate equipment used in highway and park construction and maintenance
Plow snow and salt icy roads and parking lots
Prepare maintenance and construction grades
Perform daily operator maintenance checks and preventative maintenance
Move equipment from one project to another
Operate spraying equipment
Report problems to dispatcher and management and receive instructions via 2-way radio
Perform minor repair on machinery and equipment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
One (1) year experience involving the operation of machinery, tools, and equipment used in highway construction and maintenance
Valid Wisconsin Class ABCD commercial driver's license.( Manual/Automatic Transmissions)
Have or have the ability to obtain tanker endorsement within six months of employment
Prompt and regular attendance
