The role involves teaching art classes to students from grades K-12 and developing engaging lesson plans that foster creativity and self-expression.

Responsibilities
Teach art classes to students from grades K-12, adapting teaching style and content to the appropriate grade level
Develop comprehensive lesson plans that engage students in a variety of art mediums including but not limited to painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and digital arts
Foster a nurturing, creative, and inclusive environment for students to explore their artistic skills
Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on student's work to help improve their techniques and overall creative expression
Demonstrate art techniques and assist students in applying these techniques to their own work
Organize and prepare students' artwork for school exhibits and community events
Ensure all lessons and activities comply with safety protocols
Stay current with the latest art education techniques and trends
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or related field
Comprehensive knowledge and skills in various art mediums
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with students, parents, and colleagues
Patience and dedication to cultivating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different ages and abilities
Preferred
Master's degree
Prior teaching experience or relevant work experience in a K-12 setting
