Responsibilities
Facilitate and drive consistency of internal controls across the organization through process flows and narrative standardization
Attend SOX walkthroughs for business processes and related systems
Assist with flowchart documentation to capture the data flow for business processes
Assist with documentation requests from the internal and external audit teams to support the financial statements and internal controls
Support and interact with various departments through the Company, including Corporate Accounting, Tax and Internal Audit
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
Preferred
Currently enrolled in degree program in field of study and planning to pursue a CPA license
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access
Highly organized, ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Strong analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Project and time management skills
Works well in a team environment
