Responsibilities

Define new research directions to support future AMD CPU designs
Develop and deploy new tools and methodologies to accelerate CPU-related research innovation
Develop prototypes and proofs of concepts of new features, tools, and methodologies
Partner with product-team stakeholders to take research innovations and transfer the technologies to impact the product roadmap
Excellent communication skills and strong collaboration across multiple business units

Required

Very strong problem-solving skills
Broad experience in architecture, algorithms, and methodologies

Define new research directions to support future AMD CPU designs
Develop and deploy new tools and methodologies to accelerate CPU-related research innovation
Develop prototypes and proofs of concepts of new features, tools, and methodologies
Partner with product-team stakeholders to take research innovations and transfer the technologies to impact the product roadmap
Excellent communication skills
Strong collaboration across multiple business units
PhD degree in computer science/computer engineering/electrical engineering or equivalent

Preferred

Deep experience in CPU architecture and microarchitecture
Deep experience in workload and architecture performance modeling and analysis
Experience in applied modern AI/ML tools and flows
