Responsibilities
Ensure the maintenance of acceptable standards in social work practice during scheduled shifts of responsibility
Supervises and is administratively in charge of the assigned on-site hotline operations during scheduled shifts
Conducts quality assurance evaluations with performance evaluations and performance improvement plans as needed
Provides initial training, in-service, and on-the-job training
Assists the hotline staff in the course of their duties and may serve in the role of hotline staff when needed
Ensures calls and electronic intakes are handled professionally, documentation is accurate, and the appropriate screening and notification processes have occurred for each intake according to law, agency policies, and agency procedures
Prepares reports on the operations of assigned shift(s) of responsibility
Uses data to track and manage timeliness, accuracy, and completion of required work
Uses call center equipment to conduct quality assurance

Ability to coach and motivate others for expected outcomes
Ability to work as a team with other Team Leads to ensure coverage at all times, including weekends, holidays, and other times when coverage is needed
Preferred
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience, and 1-3 years of supervisory experience
Appointing authority may require a Master's Degree and/or a social worker's license
A license to practice social work in the state of Mississippi
At least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in social work, social services, psychology, educational psychology, sociology, nursing, criminal justice, counseling, marriage and family therapy, family studies or a related field
Two(2) to four (4) years of experience in a human service-related field
One (1) to three (3) years of supervisory experience
