Responsibilities

Serve as the architectural lead for major initiatives, owning solution design from concept through delivery
Define, document, and review architecture patterns, integration models, and cloud‑forward designs
Ensure all solutions meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements typical of a financial services environment
Collaborate with engineering teams to guide implementation, navigate technical decisions, and uphold architectural integrity
Partner with enterprise architecture to align solutions with long‑term strategic roadmaps and technology standards
Communicate complex technical concepts to executives, business leaders, and cross‑functional stakeholders
Participate in architecture governance forums, design reviews, and technical steering committees

Required

Proven enterprise-scale architecture leadership
Strong cross-functional influence and governance experience
Deep technical breadth across platforms, application architectures, cloud, and integrations
Familiarity with business architecture or process modeling
Ability to lead solutions in regulated industries (financial services preferred)
Strong communication skills, especially when translating architecture for executives and non-technical partners
Serve as the architectural lead for major initiatives, owning solution design from concept through delivery
Define, document, and review architecture patterns, integration models, and cloud-forward designs
Ensure all solutions meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements typical of a financial services environment

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree
Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable
Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years
Specific certifications are often required
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
Bachelors

Preferred

Experience participating in architecture governance committees
Exposure to AI concepts or AI-enabled solution design
Excellent soft skills: facilitation, conflict resolution, storytelling, coaching
Experience with modernization frameworks or cloud migration accelerators
