Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints
Perform operational checks
Install wire for complex configurations
Bend and install conduit, rigid & EMT
Troubleshoot, diagnose & repair
Install complex conduit configurations per blueprint specifications using appropriate tools
Mount electrical boxes, fixtures, and enclosures
Stock and set up electrical wire carts
Pull wire through conduit to create ground connections
Install and cover receptacles and switches
Qualification
Required
Prior electrical experience is required
Demonstrate ability to perform multiple or semi-complex tasks
Wear personal protective gear, such as protective eyewear and steel-toed boots
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and possess a high degree of attention to detail
Required to work in hazardous conditions sometimes, which include extreme noise levels and electrical, automatic, and/or moving equipment
Ability to read a tape measure and read blueprints
Work in confined spaces while installing equipment
Ability to work from a ladder
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
Face-to-face interview before being hired
A high school diploma or GED is required
Pass a criminal background check
Pass a pre-employment drug screen
Pass a short written electrical test
