Responsibilities

Lead high-profile sediment investigation and remediation projects from concept to completion
Shape technical strategies and introduce cutting-edge digital tools and data analytics to optimize project outcomes
Mentor and inspire teams, fostering growth and excellence across ERM’s SI/RM practice
Build strong client relationships and expand ERM’s market presence through exceptional delivery and strategic business development
Manage multiple sediment investigation and remediation projects, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule compliance
Collaborate with ERM’s global SI/RM experts to deliver best-in-class solutions
Provide leadership in staff development, performance management, and retention
Drive business growth through client relationship management and cross-selling ERM’s services
Contribute to technical innovation and share knowledge across ERM’s global network

Required

Bachelor's degree in aquatic sciences, engineering, geology, chemistry, or related discipline
4+ years of consulting experience with CERCLA-style state and federal sediment site investigation and remediation projects
Proven project management expertise and ability to lead multi-person teams
Strong “seller/doer” track record—proposal writing, winning projects, and client engagement
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and mentoring skills
Advanced knowledge of sediment regulatory frameworks
Ability to travel for site visits and client meetings
Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area

Master's or Ph.D. in aquatic sciences, engineering, geology, chemistry, or related discipline
