Responsibilities
Dealing with poor wireless connections in classroom
Meraki - switches in wireless, troubleshooting network connection issues
Helping with inventory, plugging in wires
Assisting troubleshooting with networking issues as they arise
Vlan & network segmentation projects - reducing wireless network
Configuring SFT backups to work with some of the network equip
Creating backup VPNs for 4 different networking sites
Security related troubleshooting
Qualification
Required
More soft skills and critical thinking skills
Comfortable working with faculty member, students and have the communication/confidence
Team player good comms/professional (working within a team of 5 IT support of 9)
Experience or exposure to networking administration tasks
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
Experience with Cisco Meraki
Familiarity with cloud resources or zero trust architecture
MSP experience
Experience assisting with managing network, making recommendations on projects
