Responsibilities
Advise insurance companies, reinsurers, brokers, and other financial institutions on regulatory compliance, corporate structuring, and strategic transactions
Support and manage complex transactions including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and market entry initiatives
Analyze and interpret regulatory frameworks applicable to the insurance and financial services sectors
Work cross-functionally with attorneys in related practice groups to deliver integrated legal solutions
Engage directly with clients and regulators to provide sophisticated, business-focused counsel
Qualification
Required
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record
Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing, or eligibility to waive in
4-7 years of substantive experience in fund formation, investment management, and/or broker-dealer regulatory matters
Soft Skills: Exceptional writing, analytical, negotiation, communication, and oral advocacy skills are a must
Preferred
Familiarity with insurance regulations, compliance requirements, and corporate transactional work is highly preferred
Experience advising insurance companies, financial institutions, or other regulated entities is a strong plus
