The State of Ohio is seeking a Project Manager 1 for the District 6 Local Programs. The role involves leading the Local Programs Section, coordinating local improvements, ensuring project delivery on time and budget, and collaborating with local agencies on funding opportunities.

Responsibilities
Lead the Local Programs Section while assigning tasks and duties staff
As a Project Manager, coordinating local improvements ranging from maintenance activities to complex roadway and structure projects
Identifies fiscal year and quarters of projects while ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget
Work with the locals to deliver projects uniformly throughout the fiscal year
Coordinate with the locals on funding opportunities and upcoming/on-going projects and developments
Work with our MPOs/RTPOs and ensure they are fiscally constraint
Qualification
Required
3 yrs. exp. in project management (i.e., management & development of project/program requirements, design, development, testing/pilot, training & full scale implementation), with experience to be commensurate with project/program &/or position description on file (e.g., specific human service program area, management information sciences, fiscal)
12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects
successful completion of 2 yrs. post-secondary education majoring in business administration, public administration, computer science/information technology, social science, or health, with major being commensurate with project to be assigned
12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects
equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above
