Responsibilities
Oversee the creation, maintenance, and overall governance of Master Data for Products, Customers, and Suppliers. This data resides in the local ERP and Andros Global MDM systems
Lead a cross functional team of data owners in building and maintaining Master Data. The team includes members from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Industrial, and others in the Bowman business
Maintain and improve strategies, policies, and procedures for Master Data Management. Establish and enforce data governance practices, including data access controls, data quality monitoring, and data cleansing activities
Ensure compliance with industry’s best practices, data governance standards, and Andros Global standards
Manage the Master Data process from the data request to loading the data in the systems
Manage the data collection processes with the data team. Provide training and support to ensure accurate and timely data entry
Validate the data for accuracy and completeness
Prepare and load the data into the local ERP and Global MDM systems. Ensure compliance with Global data quality standards and respond to exceptions
Monitor the Master Data Management process for time and data standards
Find the root cause for any process flaws and resolve issues as needed
Maintain the Master Data Management score card to monitor change request status and quality
Collaborate with business leaders and the Global data warehouse team to build data repositories for business analytics, metrics, and reporting
Gather and analyze data from multiple systems and sources. Identify the purpose and value to populate in the data warehouse and overall benefit to business analytics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience (3+ years) in master data management, with a solid understanding of product data, customer data, and vendor management processes
Working knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and data lifecycle management
Proficiency in working with data management tools, ERP and Industrial business systems
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills, able to identify data issues and recommend solutions
Experience leading and managing a team, providing guidance and mentorship
Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques
Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
