They are currently looking for a mechanical engineer with building code knowledge to join their team, responsible for providing calculations and documentation to support product design and leading code evaluations and permitting processes.

Responsibilities
Provide calculations and documentation to support the product design
Create Submittal drawings for customer approval
Create detailed fabrication prints for production use
Create Bill of Materials
Lead code evaluations and permitting processes
Qualification
Required
Minimum of BS or AS of science in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
Knowledge of code evaluations and permitting processes to ensure full conformance with state building/mechanical/energy codes
Proficient in AutoCAD Mechanical
Knowledge of MS Office
Detail oriented with emphasis on accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Preferred
Knowledge of electrical generator equipment, UL-142 and UL-2085 code, and the National Electrical Code
AutoCAD INVENTOR (3-d) skills
