Responsibilities
Entering and monitoring Agency Level Budget
Processing and tracking budget adjustments
Approving agency payment
Monitoring and maintaining the Agency’s foreign office Bank Account
Coordinating with Human Resources (HR) on salary tracking and adjustment
Preparing the Agency’s Annual Budget request to the Legislature
Monitoring and maintaining the Performance Indicators for Legislative Tracking
Other duties as assigned with the Division
Qualification
Required
Ability to utilize Mississippi's Accountability System for Government Information and Collaboration (MAGIC) specifically relating to the Supplier Resource Module (SRM) and Contract modules within MAGIC
Familiarity with budgets, cost centers, internal orders and other MAGIC coding a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Sound reasoning skills and strong analytical skills
Preferred
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 5-6 years of experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
Experience with MAGIC
Experience with SPAHRS
