Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning: Set up and calibrate complex materials testing machines and automated systems at customer sites
Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical, hydraulic, and electronic components
Technical Support: Provide expert onsite and remote guidance to customers on hardware and software applications
Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of service visits, calibration data, and expenses
Customer Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
Qualification
Required
Proven experience troubleshooting electromechanical, electronic, and hydraulic systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
A strong 'customer-first' mentality with excellent communication skills
Availability for heavy travel (4+ days per week)
Preferred
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering)
Experience with Metrology, calibration, or materials testing equipment
Familiarity with PLC/automation logic or software-driven hardware interfaces
