They are seeking an experienced graphic design professional to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a developmental editor role, focusing on reviewing and advising on updates to an existing graphic design course to align with industry changes driven by AI and Adobe tools.

Responsibilities
Review existing course lessons, activities, and assessments for accuracy, relevance, and industry alignment
Provide developmental feedback and recommendations for content updates related to:
The impact of AI on the graphic design industry
Ethical and practical considerations of AI-assisted design
Emerging workflows and expectations for designers
Advise on updates needed to reflect new and updated Adobe tools and features
Identify outdated content and recommend revisions, additions, or removals
Collaborate with the curriculum and instructional design teams to ensure suggested updates are pedagogically sound and appropriate for high school learners
Qualification
Required
Professional or teaching experience in graphic design or a closely related field
Strong understanding of how AI is changing the graphic design industry, including tools, workflows, and industry expectations
Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including awareness of newer tools and features
Experience reviewing, evaluating, or revising instructional or training content
Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback and recommendations
Preferred
Experience teaching graphic design at the secondary or postsecondary level
Experience serving as an SME, reviewer, or consultant on curriculum projects
Familiarity with current industry standards and career pathways in graphic design
