Deaf/ Hard of Hearing Teacher - Middleton, DE
Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire a Deaf/ Hard of Hearing Teacher to join our staff and work in an amazing school. The role involves providing direct instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, supporting their development of language and communication skills, and adapting curriculum to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities
Provide direct instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across grade levels
Support development of language, communication, auditory skills, and academic content
Adapt curriculum and materials to meet individual communication and learning needs
Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations for hearing impairment under Delaware regulation 925
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, including the required Communication Plan for DHH students
Ensure students have access to appropriate communication modalities and accommodations
Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and required state documentation
Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualification
Required
Must hold or be eligible for a Delaware Initial, Continuing, or Advanced Teaching License
Must obtain the Standard Certificate: Teacher of Students Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
