Responsibilities

Lead the operational setup for Mitzvah’s first production runs (3 SKUs)
Work directly with co-packers to negotiate MOQs, pricing, schedules, and quality standards
Build and manage the full supply chain
Select and supervise suppliers, freight providers, and warehousing/3PL partners
Create efficient systems for demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management
Oversee QA/QC protocols, COAs, shelf-life testing, and product stability
Ensure compliance with FDA regulations
Establish SOPs for manufacturing, recalls, sanitation, and documentation
Build scalable systems for growth
Create operational budgets, cost-per-unit models, and margin improvement plans
Assist with operational due diligence for investors and retail partners
Identify risks and implement strategies to reduce cost, waste, and operational failures

Required

Experience in supply chain, production planning, quality control, co-packer management, regulatory compliance, and operational scalability
CPG/beverage experience
Experience helping brands launch, scale, or operate efficiently in their first years
Ability to lead operational setup for production runs
Experience negotiating MOQs, pricing, schedules, and quality standards with co-packers
Ability to build and manage a full supply chain
Experience selecting and supervising suppliers, freight providers, and warehousing/3PL partners
Ability to create efficient systems for demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management
Experience overseeing QA/QC protocols, COAs, shelf-life testing, and product stability
Knowledge of FDA regulations
Ability to establish SOPs for manufacturing, recalls, sanitation, and documentation
Ability to build scalable systems for growth
Experience creating operational budgets, cost-per-unit models, and margin improvement plans
Ability to assist with operational due diligence for investors and retail partners
