Senior Managers, Business Development

Responsibilities
Analyze market trends and data to identify growth opportunities within the existing portfolio and with new lines of business
Develop and implement growth strategies for the business, identifying new spend opportunities and driving spend on card portfolios
Execute strategies for new business opportunities within an existing portfolio of accounts, prioritizing efforts across the portfolio
Monitor portfolio of early-tenure customers, high-potential customers, and/or high-spending customers, marketing to and engaging customers by linking their business priorities to American Express’s value proposition
Drive purchase decisions, and monitor and ensure spend is captured
Partner with internal business partners, including sales support resources, to optimize the client and customer experience, driving growth on new and existing portfolios
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
5 years of progressively responsible experience with data and business analysis and reporting
1 year of experience performing data analysis to gain organizational insights and identify opportunities that drive business priorities
1 year of experience performing linear regression modeling and time series analysis
1 year of experience conducting qualitative analysis, including stakeholder interviews and market research to inform business strategy
1 year of experience applying methodologies, including A/B testing, to test hypothesis and inform business decisions
1 year of experience using MS Excel to structure data and generate models and reports
1 year of experience performing data analysis and forecasting using SQL, and advanced MS Excel
1 year of experience programming using Python and Tableau
1 year of experience building reporting frameworks and processes using advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookup, and index/match
Experience with Confluence, Google Analytics, and Jira
