Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in project estimating, scheduling, subcontract administration, and purchase order management to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met
Develop accurate project estimates by analyzing client requirements, scope of work, labor, materials, and resource needs to produce competitive and cost-effective proposals
Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to track material orders, monitor delivery schedules, and manage ongoing project progress
Support project financial management by working with the project manager to monitor costs, margins, budgets, and overall project financial health; identify risks and opportunities for cost optimization
Assist with project documentation, including preparing and maintaining meeting notes, managing Requests for Information (RFIs), and coordinating project communications
Track project milestones, update schedules, and help resolve issues that may impact timelines or budgets
Ensure project records are accurate, organized, and compliant with company and client requirements
Provide general administrative and coordination support to ensure smooth day-to-day project operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in project management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Previous experience in project coordination, assistant project management, or similar role preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in construction management software, estimating tools, and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, particularly in estimating and financial tracking
Office: 1 year (Required)
Construction: 1 year (Required)
Preferred
Experience with Plan swift (estimating software) and Procore
Knowledge of procurement, subcontract management, and cost control processes
Ability to identify risks, solve problems proactively, and support continuous project improvement
Ability to read and interpret residential construction drawings and specifications
