Responsibilities
Develop and implement robust financial strategies aligned with the roadmap and business objectives for Macro Helix
Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for Macro Helix, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial reporting
Oversee monthly/quarterly close activities, variance analysis, and reporting on key financial metrics to senior leadership
Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer support teams
Build and maintain complex financial models to assess ROI, scenario planning, and risk analysis for new software initiatives
Develop, model, and recommend pricing strategies for new software products and enhancements; analyze price sensitivities, competitive benchmarks, and margin impacts to support product commercialization decisions
Own the revenue forecasting process for Macro Helix products, incorporating sales pipeline insights, historical trends, pricing strategy, and market conditions to improve predictability and strategic planning accuracy
Identify and drive improvements in financial processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability
Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor product and project performance, proactively identifying areas for optimization
Ensure adherence to financial policies, SOX requirements, and internal controls, mitigating risks and maintaining audit readiness
Present financial insights, recommendations, and updates to executive leadership and other key stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant master's degree strongly preferred
7+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or finance strategy, ideally within a technology or software development environment
Proven track record in leading finance teams, managing complex budgets, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders
Strong understanding of financial systems, ERP platforms, and advanced Excel modeling
Demonstrated experience in new product pricing, including cost modeling, competitive analysis, and margin optimization
Experience owning or contributing to revenue forecasting for subscription or software-based revenue models
Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and business analytics; proficiency with financial software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, BPC, SAC)
Strong capability in building pricing models for new products and forecasting revenue across multiple customer and product segments
Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analysis abilities; adept at synthesizing complex data into actionable insights
Strong leadership skills; ability to inspire and guide teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey financial concepts to non-financial audiences
Demonstrated experience leading projects from inception to completion, developing robust business cases, and effectively managing competing priorities in dynamic environments
Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, able to deliver results and possess a strong drive to meet and exceed expectations
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
Comfortable with ambiguity and change; thrives in a rapidly evolving technology landscape
Preferred
