Responsibilities
Support medium-term and event driven trading activity across our own trading books in equities or fixed income
Assist in managing trading books, including monitoring positions, P&L, and risk limits for the CF Corporation
Analyse market conditions and assess the impact of trades on risk and capital utilisation
Support the execution and monitoring of trades in line with desk strategy and controls
Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of trading and risk management tools
Work closely with CF Digital technology teams to support automation, data, and model enhancements
Ensure accurate and timely implementation of trading models and monitoring systems
Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, and other control functions to support effective risk management
Oversee documentation and automated processes related to trading activity
Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to internal and external controls
Support management reporting and provide timely information to trading stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree ideally in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline. We accept also individuals from any degree, especially those numerate based
Experience working in a trading, markets (broker, asset management, sovereign), or capital markets investment banking environment, either with equities or FICC experience. We are looking for people with any industry sector backed experience
Strong understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and market risk concepts
Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably within Financial Services
Working knowledge of UK financial regulations and market controls
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess market data, positions, and risk exposures
Experience using or supporting trading, risk, or market data systems
Programming or scripting experience
