Insurance Producer
The Insurance Collective is seeking an Insurance Producer to drive new business growth through a consultative, relationship-based sales approach. The role involves developing client relationships, meeting sales targets, and collaborating with the servicing team to ensure seamless policy transitions.

Responsibilities
New Business Development: Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new sales opportunities by generating qualified leads and acquiring new clients
Sales Strategy & Execution: Refine and execute effective sales strategies to improve hit ratios and close rates while adapting to evolving market conditions
Risk Assessment & Information Gathering: Gather and analyze detailed risk management and underwriting information, including surveys and loss history, to support accurate and competitive proposals
Proposal Development & Presentation: Create and present comprehensive insurance proposals tailored to client needs, clearly communicating the agency’s value proposition
Collaboration with Service Team: Partner closely with the servicing team to ensure complete carrier submissions, efficient account servicing, and timely resolution of claims-related issues
Account Growth & Retention: Anticipate future client needs to drive renewals and expand revenue through a holistic, consultative approach
Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate production reports, track sales performance, and report on key metrics and market trends. Share insights with internal teams to support continuous improvement
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who understands each client’s unique challenges and goals
Revenue Expansion: Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling additional products and services
Sales Goal Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas by developing and executing strategies that drive sustained success
Networking & Market Awareness: Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging business opportunities
Documentation & Compliance: Accurately document all activities, client interactions, carrier communications, and updates in the CRM (HubSpot) to ensure compliance, transparency, and seamless collaboration
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance, preferably in sales, with a proven track record of client acquisition and revenue growth
Active Insurance License(s) required or must obtain within 3 months of hire
Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to use technology and sales platforms effectively
Highly self-motivated and driven to meet sales targets and achieve business growth
Willingness to travel as required to meet with prospective clients and attend industry events
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Progress toward and maintenance of professional designations such as CISR, AINS, CIC, or similar certifications preferred
