Responsibilities

Discover and implement new optimization techniques to drive fleet-wide efficiency
Deliver end-to-end impact across various resource types, including TPUs, RAM, Spindles, and GCU
Lead research into AI-driven optimization strategies
Build and maintain partnerships with Google-wide efficiency teams such as TI Dev, ARM, Compiler, Proto, and Finance
Provide technical guidance and collaborate effectively with tech leads, leadership, and key stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems
3 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
3 years of experience working in structured organization
