The ideal candidate will manage asset recovery and forensic investigations to maximize recovery for creditors under federal or state court appointments.

Responsibilities
Asset Seizure & Management: Take immediate legal and physical possession of all corporate and individual assets, including bank accounts, real estate, and digital wallets
Forensic Investigation: Conduct deep-dive forensic accounting to trace "follow-the-money" paths in Ponzi schemes or complex fraud cases
Operational Control: Assume full management authority over the defendant entities to preserve value and prevent dissipation of assets
Litigation Support: Work closely with legal counsel to initiate "clawback" actions and other recovery-related litigation
Reporting: Prepare and file detailed quarterly status reports, financial accountings, and distribution plans with the court
Qualification
Required
JD with 10+ years of experience in insolvency, bankruptcy (Chapter 11/7), or commercial litigation
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) with extensive experience in forensic auditing
Proven experience as a fiduciary, trustee, or receiver in SEC or regulatory enforcement actions
Preferred
Familiarity with digital assets, blockchain forensics, and international asset recovery
Experience in 2:15-cv-07425 or similar SEC-led receiverships is a significant plus
Ability to coordinate with federal law enforcement (SEC, FBI, DOJ)
Strong reputation for neutrality, integrity, and transparency
Multilingual capabilities (English/Mandarin) are advantageous but not required
