Responsibilities
Provide expert obsolescence engineering support to multiple program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Conduct thorough analyses including obsolescence, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS), sparing, risk, and operational impact assessments
Present analysis results effectively through comprehensive written communications in the Quarterly Contracts Data Requirements List (CDRL) Supportability Analysis Report, and verbally during monthly Supply Support IPT meetings
Collaborate closely with vendors, depot engineers, and logisticians to develop and implement actionable recommendations for obsolescence mitigation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with no prior experience
Active Secret Clearance
Proficiency in interpreting and understanding technical documentation such as Technical Orders, Indentured Parts Lists, and Specification Sheets
Preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct detailed assessments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in presenting technical analysis to stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams
