Responsibilities
Review job/production orders, interpret prints and drawings, and ensure accuracy of information
Select and verify materials, processes, and equipment for assigned jobs
Adjust and operate fabricating machines according to required setups
Prepare and clean product surfaces as needed for operations
Monitor machine performance and output during production
Package finished products according to specifications
Maintain a clean and safe work area and equipment
Follow all safety and environmental policies
Adhere to ISO and quality standards in all work
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 1 year of specific fabricating machine experience
Basic knowledge of metal fabrication; press brake, turret, and saw experience desirable
Ability to perform basic math computations related to metal fabrication
Knowledge of structural metals and fabrication tools desirable
Ability to follow safe work practices and communicate effectively with others
Preferred
Formal apprenticeship training is a plus but not required
