Responsibilities
Develop enhance and maintain backend applications using Core Java Java 8 and Spring Boot
Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise systems
Write clean maintainable and testable code following best practices
Deploy monitor and manage applications on AWS EC2 Lambda S3 API Gateway RDS DynamoDB SNSSQS CloudWatch etc
Utilize AWS CICD tools Code Pipeline Code Build or Jenkins GitHub Actions
Work with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration Kubernetes ECS is a plus
Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle DynamoDB MongoDB
Write performant queries stored procedures and schemas
Implement unit tests using JUnit Mockito
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Optimize systems for high performance resilience and security
Work closely with product owners architects and cross functional teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies Sprint Planning Daily Standups Retrospectives
Provide technical guidance to junior developers
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in Spring Boot RESTful API development
Experience with AWS cloud services
Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Core Java, Java 8, and Spring Boot
Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise systems
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, etc
Utilize AWS CI/CD tools: Code Pipeline, Code Build, or Jenkins, GitHub Actions
Work with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS is a plus)
Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB, MongoDB
Write performant queries, stored procedures, and schemas
Implement unit tests using JUnit, Mockito
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
