Responsibilities
Operate and monitor machinery to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, or shop orders to determine machine set-up, production methods, and sequence of operation
Set up machinery according to specifications; calibrate, load materials and adjust settings
Inspect finished product to ensure it passes quality standards and compliance
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, or minor repairs on equipment
Maintain accurate production logs and reports
Follow safety protocols and company policies; keep work area clean and free of hazards
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of machine operating experience
Advanced knowledge of operational procedures
Ability to solve difficult, non-routine problems with limited supervision
