Director, Bureau of Procurement and Information Management
The State of Wisconsin's Department of Workforce Development is hiring a Director for the Bureau of Procurement and Information Management. This senior manager position is responsible for overseeing procurement, records management, and web development teams while directing the day-to-day operations and budget of the bureau.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the planning, development, and administration of the programs of the Bureau of Procurement and Information Management (BPIM), including procurement, records management, forms management, publications and web development for the department
Responsible for directing, coordinating, and administering day to day operations, managing staff and employee relation functions of BPIM, and coordinating project activities
Responsible for the monitoring and development of the BPIM Bureau Budget
Participates in the development of strategic planning processes to support and facilitate the strategic planning efforts and initiatives of the department
Qualification
Required
Leading a procurement program area (e.g., IT procurement or other specific business area) or leading a procurement project of significant scope and complexity in addition to multiple smaller less complex projects
Working with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
Working in public-sector procurement (such as for a city, county, state, or federal government entity), including producing requests for proposals (RFPs) and/or requests for bids (RFBs)
Creating and delivering informal training regarding complex topics to staff and stakeholders
Leading or supervising staff
Preferred
Directing, coordinating, and administering day-to-day procurement operations
Managing multiple complex procurement requests, including RFPs and RFBs (or similar) involving multimillion dollar contracts
Supervising or managing procurement and program related staff
Creating and delivering formal training for multiple audiences of varying levels of knowledge
