Responsibilities
Work embedded with Equities traders, analysts, and desk management to understand workflows, data needs, and decision points
Translate desk requirements into high-quality AI prompts, agent workflows, and tool integrations on our in-house AI Platform
Design and iterate AI behaviors for:
Natural-language desk Q&A
Research synthesis and analytics
PnL, position, and exposure analysis
Automated reporting and desk summaries
(Potentially) trade-support and booking-related workflows with appropriate controls
Develop and maintain prompt libraries, agent playbooks, evaluation datasets, and quality metrics
Perform structured testing (prompt iteration, error analysis, guardrails) to improve reliability, consistency, and trust
Partner with internal technology, data, and risk/compliance teams as needed to ensure secure, auditable, and production-ready AI usage
Act as a bridge between the desk and technology , helping drive adoption through training, demos, and continuous feedback loops
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of experience in one or more of the following: Trading Technology / IT supporting Equities, Derivatives, or Commodities desks; Quantitative, analytics, or risk roles with market-facing exposure; Finance or commodities roles with strong technical orientation
Working knowledge of equities, futures, options, or derivatives and how desks consume analytics and reporting
Strong communication skills and comfort engaging directly with traders and analysts
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Physics, or related fields
Preferred
Prior experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic AI systems, RAG architectures, or evaluation frameworks
Evidence of building GPTs or AI agents (professional, academic, or personal projects)
Background in trading systems, market data platforms, or analytics tooling (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, in-house systems)
Python or scripting experience used for analysis, prototyping, or automation (helpful, not required)
Familiarity with PnL reporting, exposure analysis, factor models, or desk risk views
