Aircraft Powerplant Technician - Turbine Engine

The role involves disassembling, troubleshooting, repairing, and certifying systems for heavy-lift helicopters while ensuring compliance with maintenance standards.

Responsibilities
Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, test, and certify systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters
Read and interpret maintenance manuals
Clean and inspect engines, engine components, and component parts for damage and wear
Use visual examination and special tooling and equipment for inspections
Replace or repair damaged and worn engine parts and component parts using general hand tools, special tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment
Reassemble and perform tests and/or checks to confirm engine or engine component serviceability
Document all inspection findings and work performed/corrective actions in the appropriate maintenance records
Qualification
Required
Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, test, and certify systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters

Must be a US Person per client ITAR regulation
Experience in Turbine Engine maintenance on any helicopter type
Skills in engine repair, aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and engine maintenance
Preferred
Military or commercial turbine engine maintenance and/or component maintenance training preferred (e.g., Army MOS 15B)
A&P license not required, but preferred
