Deputy District Attorney
The Colorado District Attorneys' Council is seeking a Deputy District Attorney for the 7th Judicial District, which includes several counties in Western Colorado. The role involves prosecuting various criminal cases and providing support to crime victims while working closely with defense counsel and law enforcement.

Responsibilities
Duties involve prosecuting felonies, traffic and misdemeanors, including domestic violence, DUIs, preparing dockets, warrant reviews, trials, hearings, motions, and pre-trial negotiations
This position provides the highest level of service to crime victims
It also requires consultations with defense counsel, law enforcement officers, and other judicial partners
Our office enjoys and supports a team environment
Qualification
Required
Must have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado or eligible to practice in Colorado based on the required UBE score
