Responsibilities

Understand basic and advanced machining techniques
Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC equipment
Verify products using basic inspection equipment
Deburr parts and follow Quality Management Systems (QMS) procedures
Meet productivity standards and follow job priority instructions
Communicate production delays and problems to supervisors
Document work movement in the ERP system
Support the Manufacturing team to achieve company and departmental goals
Maintain 6S and Lean manufacturing best practices
Participate in team and company meetings
Role model proper work ethics, behaviors, hygiene, and dress
Design, specify, and create tooling and production processes on CNC equipment
Provide training and recommend qualifications for specific processes and equipment
Troubleshoot advanced machining problems and monitor production performance
Participate in safety and quality investigations and recommend corrective action
Manage time and attendance, including approval of time off and overtime

Required

Proficiency in machining techniques
Ability to operate various CNC machines, including 3, 4, and 5 axis equipment
Experience with 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Basic understanding of inspection techniques
Organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Understand basic and advanced machining techniques

Preferred

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of machining processes
Experience providing on-the-job training or mentoring
Experience developing tooling and production processes
Aptitude for supervisory skills and team leadership
