Responsibilities
Create and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specified requirements
Maintain pricing accuracy and item descriptions within the internal system
Match invoices to purchase orders and update inventory records in the database
Address shipping discrepancies, including shortages, overages, late deliveries, damaged goods, and returns
Coordinate routine equipment maintenance schedules, dispatch urgent repair requests, and manage related communications and charges
Organize and monitor product information while tracking backorders
Provide cross-functional support by training and serving as backup for senior buyers or other team members
Monitor office services to ensure quality standards and billing accuracy are upheld
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience in purchasing functions and activities
Proficiency in managing purchase orders and inventory systems
Strong knowledge of procurement processes within a purchasing department
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis
Ability to handle vendor relations and resolve shipping or product issues
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders
Experience with equipment maintenance scheduling and repair dispatching
