Responsibilities
Operate and manage Citizen L12 and/or L20 CNC machines
Run production and deburr parts as required
Change broken or dull tools and perform necessary offsets to maintain machine efficiency
Conduct In-Process-Inspection on manufactured parts and document inspection data
Inspect parts using microscopes, micrometers, OGP, gage pins, thread gages, indicators, and calipers
Read and interpret layouts, job travelers, and blueprints
Understand and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Ensure adherence to written manufacturing processes and procedures
Comply with company quality and safety standards
Complete preventative maintenance duties for equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area
Engage in continuous improvement activities
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of CNC Swiss Operating experience
Experience with operating Citizen L12 and/or L20 machines
Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
Strong experience in machine math/shop math
Familiarity with ISO Quality System, particularly in medical device manufacturing
Prior experience or training in a production setting and comparable manufacturing
Understanding of tooling requirements for machine setup and operation, including pre-setting tools
Mathematics experience with shop math
Proficiency with measuring tools and numerical control
