Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and accountability for the Major Projects / New Construction division, ensuring alignment with company strategy and growth objectives
Oversee the execution of large, complex mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and profitability targets are met
Maintain full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, cash flow, and margin performance
Partner with preconstruction, estimating, and business development teams on pursuit strategy, contract negotiations, risk evaluation, and project staffing
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, general contractors, and design partners, particularly within Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Manufacturing markets
Lead, mentor, and develop senior project leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Champion safety, compliance, and quality standards across all projects and operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
15+ years of experience in mechanical construction, with significant senior leadership responsibility overseeing large, complex projects or a business unit
Strong technical background in HVAC/R, plumbing, and piping systems for Healthcare, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or mission-critical commercial facilities
Proven experience with design-build, design-assist, and negotiated delivery methods
Demonstrated success with P&L ownership, financial management, and risk mitigation
Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills with the ability to scale teams and operations effectively
