VARIOUS LABOR POSITIONS (BC-02/BC-03) [multiple vacancies]
NEOGOV is seeking individuals for various labor positions within the City and County of Honolulu. The roles include Building Custodian I, Grounds Keeper, Laborer I/II, and Utility Worker I, focusing on maintaining public buildings and outdoor areas, performing manual labor, and providing essential services to the community.

Responsibilities
Performs routine manual work in cleaning and maintaining the interior of a public building; performs heavy lifting and simple maintenance repair work as required; and performs other related duties as required
Maintains lawns and landscaped areas, cleans comfort stations, collects refuse in parks/recreation areas. May do heavy lifting and minor repairs
Digs and backfills holes and trenches; loads, moves and unloads dirt materials and equipment and does other heavy manual work and/or various semi-skilled manual work
Performs various janitorial, grounds keeping and unskilled or semi-skilled work such as setting up floor panels, stage equipment and platforms, may do heavy manual work; and performs other related duties as required
Qualification
Required
At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment
Building Custodian I: Some experience and/or training in janitorial, housekeeping and/or general laboring work
Grounds Keeper, Laborer I/II, and Utility Worker I: None
Possession of an appropriate valid driver's license, as required
Preferred
Desirable experience for Grounds Keeper and Utility Worker I: Groundskeeping, landscaping experience, and/or some janitorial, custodial, or related work experience
